Pour some oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. You can slit a green chilli and add if needed. Add garlic cloves. I prefer the garlic as whole cloves and I add quite a few of them. You can chop them up if you want. Add onions and fry till golden brown. Add tomatoes. The no. of tomatoes should be at least double of the onions. I put in 4 tomatoes to 1 onion - this gives a nice tangy taste. Add haldi and chilli powder and salt to taste. Add some water and let cook. The dish will be like a thick gravy. Hope you like it!
