Games on Facebook

Lately I have been totally and completely obsessed with the games on Facebook.

It first started with Word Twist where you have to form as many words as you can with the letters given. I started making up jumbled letters and un-jumbling them in my sleep!!

Then came Pathwords (which I still play at times). You connect letters in a kind of grid to make as many words as you can. There is a live tally ticking away on the side of the screen which tells you which of your friends you have beaten with your current score. That really revs you up!! And so, makes you want to play till you die. My mom is currently so hooked on to Pathwords that I get at least 6 challenges from her a day!

Then came what I like to call the 'Ville' games. Oh man!! Are they the rage or what?!?!

Farmville makes you grow crops ranging from strawberries to daffodils to rice; to can plant grapefruit, peach, apple, avacado, olive and apple trees (God knows how they all grow side by side and in the same weather!); you rear farm animals - pigs, cows, goats, ducks, chickens, horses; you even get to buy baby elephants (!!) and grass topiaries. Once you start theres no turning back!

YoVille is virtual living. You have an apartment which you slowly decorate, and YoVille has all the amenities you can wish for - a furntiture store, a clothes boutique, a bank, few restaurants, a racing course, a casino, a beach - you name it! And you have to maintain 'friendship levels' with friends that you have invited to the game!!

Then came Happy Aquarium. Its basically what the name suggests - you own an aquarium, try to add more fish, keep the tank clean and feed the fish regularly and your life goes smoothly. The cutest part is when the fish mate. They do this circling 'dance' and the screen goes red with big hearts! And when it clears an egg drops to the bottom of the tank. Damn cute!!

The one I am currently most obsessed about is Cafe World. I own a Cafe which I must maintain by furnishing, expanding, hiring and cooking. It has to be looked into every few hours and now my day revolves around when I should check on my cafe next (I have 11 hours to go presently)!!

Not to leave out - Treasure Mania (lots of fun if you like little puzzle-games), Scrabble, Uno and a gaziilion others!!

I love 'em all!!!!
